Gutsy...

Not to be out-done by Murph, here are some photos of some bizarre stuff we have found inside animals guts. This first one is a dog that looks like he got into the stuffed animals and decided that after he had his way (biblically) with the toy, he was going to eat it. I'd show you the surgery photo, but it's a little gory. But here's a shot of the stuff we took out:



But the cake goes to a mischevious yellow lab that we had in for surgery the other day. After giving the dog a pre-operation dose of Morphine, he vomited up what looked like a red rag. But, after rinsing the rag off, we realized that is was not a rag at all. Take look:


Looks like someone's been in mom's underwear drawer! When the owners came to pick the dog up, I went over the surgery with them and then I said, "Your dog vomited something that you may be interested in" and then I produced a ziploc bag with the unmentionables in it. The husband started laughing, but the wife turned a bright shade of red and hid her face with her hands. Haha seriously, if your dog is a panty-sniffer, don't be surprised when he steals a pair now and then!

Finally, thank you to all who voted. I really appreciate your support as I am having to make this difficult decision. Krista and I are going to meet with a counselor at USU really soon, and are currently discussing the possibility of moving to Logan next fall semester. I'll keep you posted either way!
